Article 1: Formation
Under the name of Swiss Association of Mixed Martial Arts (ASMMA), members gathered in Geneva on March 24, 2008 to create this association.
Article 3: Goals
3.3 To regulate, organize, promote, control and direct competitions, tournaments, demonstrations, courses, training workshops and graduation exams in the practice of MMA.
3.4 Inform in the most efficient way about the development of MMA, in the respect of national and international regulations.
3.7 Encourage the participation and representation of the ASMMA in competitions, championships and national and international events
3.8 Invite practitioners of other international organizations in the aim of developing the practice and teaching of MMA in Switzerland.

The ressources of the association come from:
- Annual contribution of members
- Donations
- Other Financial sources approved by the executive committee
